ISO 22000 certificates issued topped 23,000 as of December 2012
ISO Central Secretarial recently released the results of its annual survey of certificates issued under its management system standards. The number for ISO 22000 was 23,231. This was up 20 percent from the end of 2011 and 563 percent from the first year, 2007. ISO 22000 continues to show strong growth as a widely recognized international standard for food safety management systems suitable for any size business at any link of the agri-food supply chain.
